Casey Jones

Drums/Vocals – has performed & recorded with Joe Cocker, Etta James, Jim Messina, Kenny Loggins, Airto, Seal, Robby Krieger, Ben Harper etc. & is featured on multiple tracks on the soon to be released, ‘Positively, Positive,’ by Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band on Shore Records.

Felice Hernandez

Vocals – Born and raised in Los Angeles, Felice Hernandez grew up in a musical family singing with her father’s show band, Orange Colored Sky. Over the years she has been privileged to back up major artists such as Neil Young, Josh Groban, Michael McDonald, Hilary Duff, Oingo Boingo. Felice is currently teaching vocal students in the South Bay, as well as singing on numerous recording sessions for television, film and radio.

Jayme Palmer

Vocals – Multi-genre singer, born and raised in Los Angeles with over ten years of professional experience. Her voice can be heard on FOX television shows, The Flash and Sleepy Hollow, and she is a featured vocalist on albums by artist Ben Labat, Tribal Campagne, and her own solo Christmas EP, Christmas Wishes. Besides live backup singing, in-studio backup, and solo work. Jayme is currently with Englebert Humperdink.

Viva Vinson

Vocals – Viva, who is the product of an Italian-American mother and African-American father, has had musical interests as varied and mixed as her ethnic and cultural background. Viva appears at several clubs, restaurants and hotels in here native town Los Angeles, California. You may find Viva performing around town at such venues as Café Cordial, Barone’s, Giovanni’s, Vitello’s, Club Aura, and etc.

Dani Phoenix

Vocals – Dani Phoenix attended the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music. She attributes much of her professional experience to her work with CBS at KRTH 101.1 fm and The Gary Bryan Morning Show where she met and worked with her idol Stevie Wonder. Dani is now a regular performer at the House of Blues Hollywood, and is an active LA studio session vocalist.

Andrea Palm

Vocals – Andrea Palm has been feature @ the Long Beach Jazz Festival, toured with & appeared in the play ‘Raisin’, with Peabo Bryson and has been a part of the B. B. King’s Gospel Brunch series, is currently the lead singer with the 2nd Street Band, appearing on both ‘A Band for All Reasons’ & ‘Positively, Positive’ on Shore Records.

Tyra Juliette

Vocals – Tyra Juliette is a soul singer, with a funky rhythmic style uniquely her own. She is known for her fresh approach to classic songs and sultry lead vocal, as well as her ability to blend as a background singer. As a background vocalist she has shared stages with Keith Urban, Niles Rodgers and Chic, Demi Lovato, Pharrell, Kid Rock, Jeff Lynne, Ed Sheeran, Puddle of Mudd, Sam Moore, Al, Paloma Faith, Rita Ora, David Palch, Angelique Kidjo, The Roots and Jon Bon Jovi.

Raffia Ford

Vocals – Raffia has performed with some of R&B’s top recording artist such as Toni Braxton, Tito Jackson – from the Jackson 5, and Chante Moore, to name a few. Raffia is currently in the studio recording her Debut Album which will consist of R&B, Soul and Jazz. She is excited to be apart of the Gregg Young’s 2nd Street Band as a background vocalist.

Andrea Miller

Vocals – is a featured Jazz vocalist @ the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons & Regent Beverly Hills Hotels, is an ‘in demand’ LA session singer, USC graduate with a Bachelors of Fine Arts & two solo albums released.

Connie Early

Vocals – Connie currently performs as Janis Joplin and Grace Slick in the theatrical production Summer of Love: The Musical. Her versatile voice has appeared in television and video (Warner Bros./Saban Entertainment) to live performances conducted by renowned film composer John Williams. She is also a featured vocalist at the historic Skyroom in Long Beach.

Elisa Dease

Vocals – Now has the gig with Prince and was with ‘Savage Garden,’ is featured on the duet, with Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) on the current European released single, recorded albums for Chrysalis Records, Prince (has recorded on two of his albums). She has also recorded with, Belinda Carlisle, David Cassidy, La Toya Jackson, Dave Koz etc. & is featured on vocal tracks for the soon to be released, ‘Positively, Positive,’ by Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band on Shore Records.

Renee Motteler

Vocals – has been featured @ the Montreaux & Playboy Jazz Festivals is currently working on her Jazz/Vocal Masters Degree @ CSULB is featured on vocal tracks for the soon to be released, ‘Positively, Positive,’ by Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band, on Shore Records.

Kirkwood Coakley

Bass/Vocals – Grammy Nominated recording artist, Kirkwood Coakley, from the Bahamas, was originally managed by Bob Marley’s manager, and is cofounder of T Connection. Ming Freeman

Keyboards – Ming Freeman performs currently with YANNI and JEFFREY OSBORNE. His stage and recording credits also include Paula Abdul, Gladys Knight, Joni Mitchell, Sheena Easton, Jean Carne, Michael Henderson, Ronnie Laws, and the list goes on.

Scott Martin

Sax – Scott Martin has been an influential part of the GRAMMY® Award Winning Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band and has recorded with Ray Charles among many other soul greats. He has also performed and recorded with many artists and performers such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Jose Rizo’s Jazz on the Latin Side All Stars, Mongo Santamaria, Francisco Aguabella, The Temptations, and is currently the Sax player for WAR.

Dr. Bobby Rodriguez

Trumpet – Dr. Bobby Rodriguez is a Grammy Nominated recording artist, author, award-winning educator and ‘Latin Legend.’ He inspired the Los Angeles photograph, ‘A Great Day in L. A.‘ and presented the world’s first live Jazz Webcast, ‘Jazz it Up!’ As Dr. Bobby says, ‘If you have a dream, go for it and don’t let anyone stop you, steal it or change it, I know because I’m just one more success story from East L.A.

Joey Navarro

Keys – Joey Navarro is currently with the Latin superstar band, Tierra, and Greg Adams, Grammy and Emmy nominated artist. Navarro began touring at age 23 as a music director and keyboardist. He has shared the stage with Marion Meadows, Brian Bromberg, Steve Oliver, Denise Williams, Eric Marienthal, TIERRA, and El Chicano.

Mark Cargill

Violinist – Talented violinist who has recorded with musicians such as Justin Timberlake, Joss Stone, Outkast, Alicia Keys, Earth, Wind & Fire, and more. He has an extensive background working in both TV and film. His music can be heard in Toy Story, American Idol, and he has even played violin for Aretha Franklin during the 2008 inaguration.

Ricardo ‘Tiki’ Pasillas

Percussion – Currently with Arturo Sandoval. Previously Marc Anthony’s drummer and was also a member of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live House Band, featured on all percussion tracks for ‘A Band for All Reasons’ & is currently recording tracks for ‘Positively, Positive,’ by Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band, on Shore Records.

Norman Jackson

Keys – Los Angeles based professional pianist Norman Jackson has worked with a multitude of Award-Winning artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Marc Anthony, Ignacio Val, Alejandro Fernandez, Andy Vargas (With Carlos Santana) and many more. He has played a variety of genres ranging from Latin, Country, Gospel, Jazz, R&B, to Rock etc.

Brandon Fields

Sax – Brandon Fields began working as a freelance musician while still a teenager. He has been a featured player on several movie soundtracks, including Austin Powers. He received a Grammy in 2002 and performed on Ray Charles’ 2005 Grammy slamming Genius Loves Company. Since June 2006 he has been performing with Barry Manilow for the legendary star’s house gig at the Las Vegas Hilton. He has worked with artists including Earth Wind & Fire, Elton John, Quincy Jones, Jewel, B.B. King, Kenny Rogers, Tower of Power, and The Rippingtons.

Mark Visher

Sax – Mark Visher has worked with various artists such as Christina Aguilera, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, and John Tesh, Jane Lynch, Michael Bublé, and many more

Quinn Johnson

Keys – Grammy award-winning pianist and composer Quinn Johnson has lived in four different countries on three different continents, and has played music from around the world with Cuban, Brasilian, Persian, African, Middle Eastern and Chinese artists. He has performed and/or recorded with Steve Tyrell (for whom he serves as musical director), Rita Coolidge, John Densmore (of The Doors), Flora Purim, Airto Moreira, Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Andrea Bocelli, as well as various other artists.

Anders Swanson

Bass – Multi-talented performer who has performed with Ray Charles and Jerry Louis & The Louis Bellson Big Band.

Jorge Bermudez

Percussion – Jorge Bermudez, Nicaraguan percussionist raised in San Francisco made his recording debut at 17 for Latin Rock group Malo on Warner Bros in 1972. He has recorded and performed for a variety of artists from Johnny Mathis, Grateful Dead, Santana, and Crowded House to playing the historic bongo intro to Judge Wopner’s People’s Court on TV.

CC Thomas

Bass – Music Director for Diana Ross, tours with Jeffrey Osbourne, and has a recording studio in LA. He is also a Los Angeles based producer, writer and arranger.

Chris Wabich

Drums/Percussion/Steel Drums (Pan) – Master Drummer, versatile touring artist records with Sting, Michael Mc Donald, Brian Bromberg & Kevin Ayers & is featured on all drum tracks for ‘A Band for All Reasons,’ and is featured on drum tracks for the soon to be released, ‘Positively, Positive,’ by Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band on Shore Records.

‘T’ Coakley

Ross Harper

Steel Drums (Pan) /Percussion – specializes in the musical styles of the Caribbean. Ross has traveled to Trinidad, the birthplace of the pan, and performed with all the top players, including Robert Greenidge from Jimmy Buffett’s group. Has also performed on the scores for the movies The Distinguished Gentleman, featuring Eddie Murphy, and Speed II, is featured on the soon to be released, ‘Positively, Positive,’ by Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band on Shore Records.

Drums – From the island of Curacao, DutchAntilles; records and tours with the legendary Latin trumpet player Bobby Rodriguez; has performed with former Miles Davis percussionist Munjungo Jackson; also performed with since-deceased Jazz guitar great Eric Gayle.

Doyle McKinney

Steel Drums – From Nassau, Bahamas; performed on the soundtrack to Eddie Murphy’s ‘Distinguished Gentleman’ and with numerous jazz and tropical ensembles in Southern California.
