Gregg Young and the 2nd Street Band is proud to have received 501(c)(3) status, sponsored by Pentacle. It is the band’s priority to give back to the community in more ways than one. Since the band’s inception, the award-winning group has participated in a number of philanthropic events including the Long Beach Mayor’s Trophy, Corona Del Mar Christmas Walk, Special Olympics Plane Pull, Los Angeles Marathon, Los Angeles Life Run, Long Beach Marathon, Jonathan Jacques Children’s Cancer Center, Earth Day Pop-Up Celebration, Shotokan Karate (CSULB), Long Beach ArtWalk, Lotus Festival, St. Maria Goretti, Manhattan Beach 10K, and bringing musical cheer to the amazing kiddos at AbilityFirst!
