Saturday, 7/25/09 from 5pm -7pm, at the Dorothy Collins Brown Amphitheater at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band will be performing Latin Sounds – Relax in Hancock Park as world-renowned artists play the hottest sounds from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Cuba, and Los Angeles.
Award-winning guitarist and bandleader Gregg Young brings his eclectic band of Latin Jazz greats to LACMA. Gregg had the privilege of having guitar legend Carlos Santana as a friend and mentor, and also worked with such stars as Bo Diddley and Sly Stone. Recordings by the 2nd Street Band have featured musicians including Dr. Bobby Rodriguez, Theophilus “T” Coakley, and Jorge Bermudez.
